Q: What kind of game is this?
A pokemon based path choosing forum game. :)
Q: Can we use all generations of pokemon?
No, only the first generation is available at this time.
Q: Are we allowed to start with Legendaries?
No, you can encounter them though.
Q: Are our pokemon breedable?
Yes! Either by Wild pokemon encounters or breeding your own pokemon.
Q: Can we find eggs?
Yes! You can find them in the wild, steal them from nests, or buy them from some mysterious characters.
Q: Can we fight other players that are playing the game as well?
No, for right now there will only be NPCs to battle.

How to Play
This is a pick and choose game. It is much like the other path finding games that have been used in the forums. Simply read and follow the instructions given out and have fun. You can only pick ONE of the options given unless told otherwise. Make it like a story if you want to have a little bit more of an adventure!

Step 1: Make your character of course!

Name (First, last is optional)
Gender (Male/Female)
Age (10-11)
What does your character look like? Basics are acceptable; eyes, skin, hair, clothing style.
Any other little tid bits you want to add. Parents, you have to be living with either your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, a type of guardian. Are you on good terms with them? What about the rest of your family? Are pokemon looked upon as something great, something normal, or something dangerous? Do you wish to be a pokemon trainer or breeder? (Other options will come out later on.)


Step 2: Pick your pokemon!

As of right now only the 1st generation pokemon are available. More will be added later on when your Professor has updated your Pokedex!!!
You may only choose 1 pokemon, pre-evolved only! NO Legendaries.
Your pokemon that you pick will be level 5, no less, no more.

You go downstairs and smell the familiar scent of oatmeal. You live with your grandmother who took you in after a car accident involving your parents. "Good morning sweetie," she says in a strained voice. It is normal for those of her age, her wrinkled face smiling at you. "I made us some oatmeal, I know it's not your favorite but you are going to need your strength."


What will you do?

A) Decline and leave towards the crossroads. (+5 minutes)
B) Accept, you don't want to say goodbye just yet. (+30 minutes)
C) Run away at the very sight of oatmeal, YUCK!!! (+5 minutes)

Your grandmother smiles towards you as you sit down for breakfast. The house was old but sturdy, were weren't poor but your family wasn't rich either. "Now listen," your grandmother starts, "I am going to give you something." she pulled a cloth out of her pocket and uncovered three oran berries. "If you plant these somewhere safe and where you will remember, they will grow and bare more fruits. These will help you grow on your journey." she said, cherishing your cheek.

As you walk to your neighbor's house, you see the lady of the house outside watering her garden. She waves at you as you come into the yard. "Are you here to see Daisy? She's in her room upstairs." she hums.
You and Daisy have been friends every since you were little. You both dreamed of becoming pokemon trainers one day. You enter her room and see Daisy has already packed everything she needs. "Oh! Hey Luna! You ready? I've got my pokedex from the Professor yesterday. She told me to give you this since she is visiting the next town over today."

You obtained a Pokedex!

"She also told us to meet her when we arrived at the next town over. She has a surprise for us!" she grinned. Her short brown brown curled went perfectly with her heart shaped face and her pale pearly skin. "I can't believe it, we are actually Pokemon Trainers now!"

"Oh yeah!" she says, turning away suddenly. "She also gave me this, she told me NOT to open it until we were together. She opens the small box and it reveals two pokeballs. Each under the name of the trainer. You pick yours up and admire it.

BATTLE MODE!

Tutorial: Hello! You just entered battle mode, where you are able to fight NPCs on your journey. In battle mode your choices now will include; Pokemon moves, switch pokemon, and attempt to flee/Give up. You can only flee battles with Team Rocket and Wild Pokemon. Every pokemon move has a chance to miss, except for the moves that automatically hit.
