How about an essence that lets you have 6vis traits? There are so many gorgeous designs w/ 6vis that you can't generate.

I would definitely have to say that I do not support this. This is what breeding projects are for, and would ruin the market for such projects. It would pretty much destroy the purpose of most breeding entirely. Our current types of essences keep breeding just challenging enough to be interesting. And, because it takes time to breed those lovely 6 visible pets, they retain value. If you could just generate a perfect 6 visible pair with no effort, the offspring would become rather worthless very quickly (like muddy-coloured 6 visibles of most species, especially zolnixi, are now).

I might see a market for an even more powerful essence that allows for 6 trait points (3 visible / 6 carry), but even that seems a little over-powered. If this were to come into being, it would have to be another diamond store only item, like the Mystical essences, and probably cost something like 1500 diamonds each.

Hmm. I could support this idea IF the essence was nearly impossible to obtain. These are the conditions I am thinking of:

1) It cannot be bought in the shop, you have to earn it somehow.

2) It cannot be traded in any way. So it defeats the purpose of people farming it for gold.

3) It cannot be obtained through normal essence means: nurturing, Jinxie's jamboree, random battling, satchels etc.

4) Possible restrictions on the generated pet:

The pet cannot be traded
or limited number of breedings,
or forced infertility?
Perhaps only 1 or 2 per player is allowed. So if you find one, that's it, no more. Perhaps you can even choose the species.
Maybe breeding is allowed, but it's kind of like the restricted traits except enforced. So 'special' generated are only able to breed with other 'special' generated. Then again, there'd have to be some sort of incentive to do this + a limit on it.

5) Perhaps it is obtained through battling an end-game community driven boss. However, the drop rate could be super low; much lower than usual essence drops.

I agree, it would have to be a VERY rare item that you could only get once or twice, and not be able to trade it. Or to make a 3 vis/6 carried that would be super expensive. Also make it a Lvl 60+ only item, that way you have to play a lot to actually get it.

It's actually pretty easy to breed pets to 6V as is - it just takes a bit of time and the proper know-how. Even with only three regular essences used, you can still breed up to 6V in about 4-6 months if you really work at it. Maybe a bit longer for Fabled Pets since their breeding cooldown is 7 days up from 3 on the nonfabled. *has completed a lot of 6V projects >_>; *


And it's just as easy to buy a 6V from the advanced search and dye it to the colors you want. Trait availability may be limited depending on the species and how old/new the traits are, of course, but it's still very much possible to get a good-looking 6V this way.

I do not support this idea. Yes, it might sound cool at first, but the purpose of the game is to BREED! If you can generate a 6VIS, what is the point of this game? If this so called 'essence' is literally impossible to obtain, I don't see why it needs to exist in the first place.

Cause it would be like an 'end-game prize'; only something you could access once you reached the very end.

That's what I like about Ny'venes and puffadores... You have to reach the end content to access them. (Yeah, you can buy offspring off people, but I like being able to work towards stuff).
