*Sorry if this was brought up before but I didn't see it in the first pages.

Up until now I missed alot of contests that I had no idea even took place, the main reason for this is the time difference.
(I am 8 hours before you)
I know most users don't have this problem, and the 8pm server time fits them prefectly, so - I won't ask to change the contest's time.
But I would like the notice time for the contest to be earlier (like in the last Franken Pet), so I would know that a contest is going to take place.

I like how u suggest this, at least this way u can be notified since u prob were at the afternoon, and if ur like most players u get on later in the evening, possibly a day ahead notification might suit you.

*nod* I got on the computer for the first time today a half hour after the contest had started, saw the notification under the main navigation strip, and thought I had missed some notification when I was on the site yesterday.

I think probably having a notification under the main navigation strip would become unwieldy if it were there a couple days or a week in advance, but maybe there could be an announcement in the forums (and accompanying ping) that far in advance, and the under-the-nav-strip notification closer to the time of the contest?

Sorry about that, I PMed everyone like 4ish hours before it started. Sometimes we just do games...and it's not really a planned thing...more of a lets just do a game today thing. If it's planned we've been trying to give a better heads up to people. :3

I do go online mostly in the later hours like 19+ (7 pm?) but I don't stay on for that long.. If I stayed on last night for another hour I would have know T-T
The main reason I am so into this is because those games have good prizes and they are not that hard to enter + they really are fun.

Umm.. How about making the games have 2 rounds, few hours apart (like if you took part in the first round and won you can't play the second round), that way the people in the other half of the globe can play too.

Same here. It's like 12 hours difference in SE Asia.
When I go online today, I was like "Hmmh, Ny,vene Egglings? How come they only have egglings and being congratulate?" and then check out the forum, "What?! Contest? When did? I missed it? "
It would be better if we were told one day before the contest.
