Maris rolled out of bed and put on her new slinger gear. She caught herself in the mirror and smiled. She looked epic. She stuck her head into the living room. "Hey T. Ready for our first day as Slingers? I was thinking we might try and find some more slugs. There's a tournament tomorrow that I'd like to go to, so I thought it'd be nice to have more than two slugs." she gestured towards her Rammstone, Jock, and her Frostcrawler, Bip, while saying the last part. "Nah. you go ahead, sis." Teddy replied. "I'm in the middle of a game right now." "Suit yourself" Maris said, shrugging, before going to her garage and mounting her mecha-beast, Claw. "hmm" she thought to herself. "I've always wanted a flaringo slug, but they only really live in lava pits, and I don't think I'm ready to go somewhere like that yet. Hop rocks are pretty common. I guess I'll go and look for one of those." She darted off to go look for slugs.
