Fate looked out of her apartment window, watching the people walk by and the cars drive by. She sighed, turning and walking down to the entrance of the building. She stepped out the door onto the busy streets. She walked to the general store and heard a homeless child crying in an alley so she went down it to figure out the exact reason why. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked, her voice soothing the child. The child shook her head. "No, my dog died." she said moving a leg so Fate could see the dead dog by her side. Fate frowned. "I'm sorry sweetie. I wish i could bring it back." she said before adding "I have to go but i'll visit later ok?". The child nodded and waved goodbye. Fate stepped out of the alley and looked around before going to the store again.

He slipped down the alley passing the crying child. "Is something the matter?" He asked the girl before seeing the dead dog. "I see, though death is not always a bad thing. At least now you do t have to worry about the extra mouth to feed." He said walking on. He entered the store and slipped down an the row with the soup crackers. He reached past a girl. "Excuse me ma'am." He said looking at the box. "I hope the little girl outside doesn't complain about them." He looked to the lady. "Kids, always finding a reason that something is not good enough." (He is speaking to Fate)

Fate looked at the man. "Yeah you talked to her too huh?" she said. She looked at him. He seemed like a real gentleman. Obviously kind or he wouldn't pick up the crackers. She got out of her mind. "Well we can meet up again at the door and take the items we are getting for her at once." she offered, knowing it totally sounded like she was interested in him. She just wanted to get to know him.

The man looked at her a slight smile playing on his lips. "It's a date then." He said walking off to find a few more items. Once checked out he waited at the door, lighting a cigarette. Normally he didn't smoke yet he was off at the moment, therefore he could be who he wanted to be.

Fate smiled and nodded then went to get bread and peanut butter, a few water bottles and a small cooler. She payed for the items and met him at the door. "Okay i got the items i was gonna get." she kind of joked. She kind of surveyed him. He seemed like he had the same job as her. Assassin. "My name is Fatality." she finally said.

"Sasha." He said walking down the alley and setting the bag down by the little girl. "Here it's the best I can do at the moment." He informed. "I'll see what else is can do once I get home."

The girl nodded and thanked him. She slowly took the bag then looked at Fate. Fate set the small cooler beside the girl with the food and drink inside of it. "Its the best i can do for now. I'll be back later." she said. The girl nodded and stood up. She walked to Fate and hugged her. Fate stiffened but after a few moments she partly hugged the girl back. The girl then looked at Sasha. She broke the hug with Fate and hugged Sasha. Fate chuckled. "You welcome." she replied to the girl's hug.

Sasha didn't bother to hug the girl back though he also didn't pull away. "I need to get going, I have a lot of things I must get done." He said once the girl let go of him. "Good day." He said as he went to walk away.

Fate bid farewell to the girl as she began to make herself something to eat and Fate followed Sasha. "So. I have the feeling you and I have the same kind of job." she said, starting conversation. She kinda liked Sasha but as a friend. Right now they were just acquaintances. She smiled. "Thank you for putting my faith in humanity back." she joked.

"I'm just trying to make a child's life a bit better. I know how hard it can be to live on the streets." Sasha said with a sigh as he stuck his hands in his pockets.
