you go to the pet profile of the pet you want to trade/sell, click "manage pet", and set the sale price to 1 gold/the price you're intending to sell, and put in the user ID of the player you want to trade/sell to. You can get the user ID by going to the player's profile page. Make sure you key in the user ID correctly, otherwise the player may not be able to buy your pet. If you don't key in the user ID, then anyone/everyone will be able to buy your pet instead of the specific user.
