Everything was so dark, and cold from the air around her to the very memories she had left. It was an unnatural dark, one that you would find deep inside a cave, and there was even the pressure to go with it. It was not much pressure but it was enough to make your ears pop every now again. Where was this? How had she gotten here in the first place? The girl raised her hand though she could not see it. Nothing, there was nothing in front of her only dark. She quickly pulled her hand back to her afraid of what lurked in the deep abyss of the pitch black. The surface she sat upon was soft and almost inviting if she knew what it was. It curved to fit her shape the longer she sat in it the deeper she seemed to sink. This too frightened the girl causing her to jump up suddenly. Now she stood in the dark, her hands out stretched in front of her. Her heart was racing as she stumbled forward, her eyes wide though they could not see anything that stood in front of her. She hit something. It was a wall of sort though it felt as if it was padded with something like a hard pillow. This caused more panic to spread over her. Was she in a padded cell? For what reason? Had she been kidnapped?! She was crying now as she felt along the wall trying to find a place to exit this madness. There was a corner, good that meant the room had and end in sight, or in the dark as she currently was. Her toe struck something, hard. She winced, recoiling from the object. What was it? It didnt seem to move even when she had struck it. Could it be a piece of furniture? Her hands reached out again and found the object again. It was a desk with a single chair sitting in front of it, and loads of paper sitting in a stack of one edge, at least it felt like paper. She made her way around the edge of the desk and again to the wall. How long was this room? It seemed as if it ran on forever and ever! Then her fingers touched the cool metal of the door. Finally the door! But where was the doorknob? She searched frantically for it but had no luck. She moved on forcibly, hoping to find something else that may help her in the long run. Just a few moments later she came to the light switch.
Oh thank the lord! She said happily as she flipped the switch. The lights hummed loudly before actually clicking on. The light was surprisingly blinding as they reflected off the white washed walls. The girl winced again as she covered her eyes. Where in the world am I? she asked herself squinting to keep some of the light from hurting her eyes. Now she was able to see around the padded cell, for indeed it was so. There was a bed sitting the right hand corner of the room from where she stood at the door and the desk she found was on the wall next to the bed. There was a stack of paper sitting perfectly on it along with a box of brand new pens, the ink color being black, and a lamp that stood on the edge closest to the bed. Other than that and a mirror that stood to her left the room was an empty white cell. The mirror caught her attention now more than anything else. She hardly recognized herself now, saying that she was dress a lot differently than normal. The clothing she wore was white like the walls around her, and both pants and shirt were horribly baggy on her. Then there was her hair. It was all cut off! It was short now not long like it was, cut in a sort of bob like haircut. It was cute and all but it was not like her at all. She walked closer to the mirror a hand running through her hair as she did. What? She asked her voice shaking some as she did. Thats when she saw it. On the base of her thumb, printed in black ink was a number, 198 it read. She looked at her hand then saw it was on the other thumb as well. What the heck? She asked her voice shaking more. She looked back to the mirror and found the same number was on her sleeves and pants legs. She backed away in horror, falling as she did so. Even on the ground she still backed away until her back was on the wall. The girl grabbed at her hair before she began to scream. Where am I?! She yelled as loud as she could. Someone please let me out! She grabbed at her ruined hair but found that there was hardly enough to grab onto. Tear stung her eyes and she began to sob. Why was she not home like every other morning she woke up? Why was it so hard to remember what had happened to her in order for her to get here? Why could she not remember anything?
Dean-
Why did they call if the Physical activity ward if no one was ever active? It was like they were vegetables, with their blank stares and drooling mouths. Then again they had been here longer than him so maybe they had a reason to be dazed. Even their minds were blank, it was strange like they had never had a thought in their lives. "Pathetic, the whole lot of them." Dead said shaking his head as he sat on the work out bench. There was no need for a work out not when they make you walk all the way to kingdom come and back for a simple blood test. Whom ever designed this place was stupid. Dean rolled his eyes as a guard thought of the nurse from the C wing of the operation ward. "They make me sick.." He said putting his hands on his face. "Our time is coming though, don't worry about that. There's a storm brewing and it's going to be big." A evil smile spread over his face as his heart began to beat fast. "It's going to be good."

She woke up, rapidly breathing after receiving the dream. Beads of sweat trickled down her face and she quickly sat up. where am I? she thought, trying to recall the events in the past few days. Oh yes, Hell. Crisis shook her head and waited in the bed a few moments for her eyesight to adjust to the darkness. As she focused in on the surroundings, she swung her legs off the bed and rubbed her eyes. She stumbled over to the light switched and cringed for a moment at the brightness. She squinted for a moment and took in her appearance in the mirror. Her long hair hadn't been touched since she resided on floor 7, where they weren't considered dangerous enough to mess with their hair. She only heard of one person on floor 7 who had had it cut, but overheard the guards talking about how she'd be transferred soon. She touched it in the mirror, remembering the first time she had used her power. As soon as she learned she could control shadows, she had tried it on her pet. As she was playing with the animal, she had not noticed her hair had turned a silvery color, as if the shadows had stolen the darkness from her once golden brown hair. She still didn't know what to think about this place, though she did wish she had her phone back. Two days without electronics was hard, but at least she had paper to draw on. She sat down by the nearest wall and leaned her head back. What was that dream talking about? Why? And most importantly, when?

Regret
It was dark. As i remember my life, it was always dark. I love it here, better than a cave somewhere... I'd yawn a bit, before standing up and pacing around, my cloak falling to my legs. I wonder if they will try to kill me again today? I think i just may escape... I'd sigh, yawning a bit. I lost the love for this place and it's free housing. I'd sit back down, waiting for someone to open the door.

Maxine-
The dream she had, the man from it spoke to her. He talked of escape, escape from where? What was this place? The door hissed and opened as the guards rushed in restraining her before moving her out of her room. She was to afraid to do anything other than follow as she was rushed to the physical ward. Max trembled as she was forced into the tiny cell was only big enough for a bench and some activities. Her knees shook as she sank to the ground, tears flowing down her face. What were these people going to do to her here? Would she ever be able to go home again? Everything was so blurry in her memories, she could not even think of what her mother and father looked like. Did she even have them? Of course she did, didnt she? Then there was the fact that it was even harder to think of who she was. How in the world do you forget who you are? What kind of drugs was she on?! Whatever it was she was stupid to even have tried them if she had any chose on the matter. Look where it has gotten her! She hit herself on the forehead trying to will herself into remembering anything yet nothing seemed to help. How though?
Dean-
The new girl, the one there were moving to his floor later today that's who that was. She seemed upset and confused already, how pitiful. Dean nearly laughed at her, though he kept his mouth shut. He wouldn't remember how he was on his first day, he was only a newborn after all. The guards were busy thinking about how grand a time they were going to have pushing her around, the sick ******s. "I'll never understand why they find this type of torture so entertaining." He huffed glaring at the gaurds. The girl in the cell next to him, Max by name, looked up and sniffled. "Don't worry, they won't have the upper hand much longer. HE won't let them."

Virginia woke up in the corner of her room for a second time, sweat running down her normal face. She had already lost control the first two days here, the stress taking its toll on her. She feared that she might do something that would get her killed in this place, especially since she was in a small locked room. Instead, when she finally found the lightswitch to her room, she only noticed a bit of clutter from her movements that night. After cleaning, she sat on her bed, pondering about what she heard in her head as she slept. Who did that voice belong to? Could they really help her escape? Could she trust them? Questions flooded her mind as she sat in her cell, figuring it was better than nothing.
Ash didn't want to turn his light on. He already knew of the mirror in his room near his bed, and he had already managed to trick himself with his own ability once with it. His bed was the only form of comfort he had in this place, and while it was better than the streets he had roamed the past couple of years, he was restrained to this room. He wanted to know what was on the outside, but from the looks of the guards who took him, he wasn't getting that treatment anytime soon. He eventually gave in, turning on the light and deciding to sit by the desk, away from the mirror. He remembered the voice from his dreams, and as much I he'd love to escape, he just didn't see how he could currently. Instead, he looked at the floor, attempting to recall any remaining happy memories from his past.

Tear-
She woke with a start who was that? she asked herself. Great. I've only been here two days and I'm already having weird dreams. She sat up and sighed. The lizard that she had brought to life scampered up onto Tear's should and looked at her, seemingly concerned. She pet him on the head and smiled. "At least I have you to keep me company. It's nice to have you around, even if I have no idea how I brought you to life." She smiled again before plopping back down into her bed.

Regret
I'd sigh, looking at the person who just entered. He didn't say anything, but he had a knife and a frown on his face. "I'm sent to kill you." He said, before charging at me. I'd disappear and grab the knife while invisible, he was confused and asked "Who are you?" I'd chuckle, then whisper in his ear. "Your regret." as i slit his throat, then dropping the knife and sitting back down against the wall. I could hear something outside the door. "Test #32 on execution of Subject 0254 has failed, going to send another test in tomorrow." The footsteps grow distant as they walk away, and i would sit down to continue pondering on what i should do.

(I'm going to switch to first person >.> Also, Hawkeye, are you going to be controlling guards too?)
Crisis
I thought about the dream for a bit, but decided I had no idea what what to make of it. It'll probably make sense soon I thought to myself while looking at the ceiling. I stood up and went over to the desk and slipped out a piece of paper to draw on. As I started sketching out a picture of my beloved cat, I envisioned all of her features, drawing everything that I could remember. once I was done, I tore out the picture and put it in the most shadowy position I could make and brought it to life, making it dance over to me and sit in my lap like she had. It wasn't anything like her though. I couldn't even lift my hand to touch the drawing while controlling the piece of paper. I let go of the shadow and stood back up, feeling a little drained and I went back to my bed.
(xD Why did everyone name their characters after depressing words? Did I start a trend? lol)
