i just found out that Canada national anthem has change how can i say i'm proud to be Canadian when i'm not. Canada was based on christian and catholic belief this is a sad day for all Canadian. :(

.......I had no idea they did a vote on this. That is horrible what was wrong with the anthem? That was history all thy sons command is not just aimed at males its is for all. In all of us command sound stupid.

It wasn't changed for religious reasons; it was changed to make it more gender neutral.
Before 1913, the line "True patriot love in all thy sons command." was originally: "True patriot love thou dost in us command", so with this change, it actually brings it closer to an earlier version of the song.

Here's the first verse from 1908 which is the original English version of O Canada

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love thou dost in us command.
We see thee rising fair, dear land,
The True North, strong and free;
And stand on guard, O Canada,
