Hi! I signed up a really long time ago and just now got around to playing this game.
I've completed a couple quests but now I'm having an issue.
When I select the equipment I have, the "Use Item" button will not light up to let me put the items into my wardrobe.
Here is what I'm seeing when I select an item:

Oh, you mean the armor/accessory/relic/costumes? Those go on your pets to help raise they're stats. Helds, wings, and outfits are what go on your avatar. Click on the equipment, then click on the corresponding space below your battle pet (once you select it) I can take a screenshot fi you would like!
