I had a really cool idea about something that would be amazing
Cross Species Breeding (breeding a Zolnixi with a Puffadore for example)
You could get a gene for a pet that you can't get for that pet (a Ryori with the Cross Fox gene)
Or mutations for a pet that are not for that pet (a Zolnixi with a spiked collar)
and you MUST breed the pets you want for the cross breed, you can't find them like real life cross breeds, such as the "Liger"




so in short, it's a cool idea i had and i hope it will be added someday
and tell me what you think of my idea please because if lots of people like my idea then hopefully the administrators will add this

[examples, Ry-puff Ryori and puffadore, Zoln-pora Zolnixi and Lupora, Dra-vene Drayel and Ny'vene]

edit: Ok here is another thought, it could only have some genes and you could RARELY get across breed

First of all, this should be put in the suggestions box :)

Now, lets take a look at your idea. Mm-hm. Very interesting. One problem. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME THIS WOULD TAKE? Krin and Fai would have to
a) Draw new lines
b) Redraw traits to fit the new lines
c) Implement that feature into the Breeding Grounds
d) Implement a bunch of new species in the generator
And it would change the entire site. It's a good idea, but we're already in late beta...

If there is a trait you like on another species, try to submit it into a trait contest instead.
I know we have these once in a while?
For example if you like the bell collar on the puffs, but want to see it on the nixies, draw it up and send it in as a contest entry!

In the end it would probably be easier on the artist to just add in a few new traits to a species instead of trying to create some sort of new program for cross breeding.

It would be a lot of work but I do agree with you and I think it would be really cool. But then again we'd have a lot more stuff to remember such as which species can cross breed...like a Qitari and Aurleon wouldn't make much sense...or maybe they would...not sure XD

Sylestia is actually a very logical game when you think about it. It's like real life, just with other species and magic.

In real life, can you breed a dog and a horse together? Of course not! Same thing for sylestia. A Zolnixi (the dog) wouldn't mate with a qitari (the horse).

I won't even start to think how awkward it would be for the animals >.>

Imagine a tiny Bulbori with a giant ny'vene...

Ya know I had the same thought, But it would be easier to just add in a new species that's what i have been doing in the new species suggestion thread.

i only want people who support it here
And I mean SOME species not all, SOME I'm talking about ones that are kinda similar (example Zolnixi and puffadore)

I'm here to show my side of the idea...

I think anyone should know the ups and downs of their idea. It shouldn't just be an illusion of a perfect idea :P

Thank you for clarifying Tha it was only certain species.that makes it much more believable.
