Do pets gain a teeny amount of XP through breeding with others' pets or profile views? My pets that I don't use for missions, fighting, anything honestly sometimes level up and some have a lot of children.
pet 1 pet 2 pet 3 pet 4 pet 5
I have a boat load of other level 1-2 pets that have around 100+ profile views that randomly leveled up, most of which leveled during my ten month hiatus.
I always feel self conscious posting in FAQ with an 800+ day old account. :)

Pets do earn 1% xp per counted page view.
