Hello fellow Sylestians! I am hosting my monthly design contest. For the spring fest, you have to do an avi/sylestie duo! Theme is:
Dark Cute (basically take something cute and make it evil)
The prize is, depending on what I'm feeling, a tagged White Feather Hosta Luffox, or a retired avi item from a past spring festival.
Rules:
ONE DESIGN ONLY
Please don't copy other people
If I can tell it's randomized, it will be disqualified
And please ping me.
You may write a story to go with it but keep the story to two pages or less.
I'm going to design an example. No copying!
Corrupted Angels
I saw the silhouette of an angel in the background. I knew she was here to take me to paradise, with birds and fluttering angels. i don't know what I expected. It wasn't this. She was here, clad in black and red robes like a killer from a horror movie. By her side was what might have once been a pure, innocent angelic Lupora. Now it was red, with huge angel wings and a flaming hellhound skull. I backed away, hitting a brick wall.
"Wh-who are you?"
I asked timidly, trying not to stare into her demonic eyes.
"An angel."
She said with a smile.
"An angel from the Underworld."
I saw a whoosh and her Sylesti was next to me, then everything was black.

Soul Stealer
Shadow Reaper
So, the Soul Stealer could've been a cute outfit with the nice purple dress and shadow stalker and wings. But most outfits can be twisted into something dark, so that's what I'm kinda showing with this. And for the Shadow Reaper, she could've been a cute Fae until something dark took over, turning her into a nightmare. Otherwise she would've been a pretty purple Fae

Everyone cowered in fear inside their houses as she passed by.
She was wearing a ghostly dress and carrying a wicked sword with evil black wings.Her eyes glowed as if possessed and large fangs came out of her mouth, behind her was a ghost of a dog that brutally slaughtered all who got in its way. Upon her head was a rack of horns an.d a long mane of ragged black hair.
"Come Shadow," she called. She was the Soul Stealer.
A Sylesti appeared behind her. It was a dark black Faelora with its skeleton showing and mask made of a skull. It had a ghostly aura dripping from its neck and beads dangling from the skull that were carved from dead creatures. The Fae was the Shadow Reaper, and it had dripping red flowers tied around its legs.
"Let us feast upon their souls!" she screamed into the night, a maniacal gleam in her eyes.
Screams tore through the night as people instantly died when the Soul Stealer and Shadow Reaper did what they did best.

Valdir and Kaiya
As you approach the darkened mansion, a small lion-like Sylesti bounds over to you. It introduces itself in a high-pitched voice. "Hi!! I'm Kaiya! That's pronounced Kay-yuh." The energetic lioness begins to bounce up and down. "My other half, Valdir, is inside the mansion." Kaiya gazes over her shoulder nervously. "I wouldn't go in right now, or uh...ever, actually. Valdir can be quite temperamental. Wanna know why?" Before you can even answer, Kaiya begins speaking nonstop. "It's because Valdir's soul is split in two. See, he used to practice medicine, but then he was bitten by a vampire, and well...he began to practice dark magic." The young Sylesti grew solemn. "When he practiced dark magic, he became dark himself. His soul became so tarnished, the good in him had to escape." The air around Kaiya becomes cold, and you can see her breath. "It escaped, and it formed...me! I don't have much memory beyond that." Kaiya smiles. "Well, you'd better go, before Valdir notices." With a wave of her paw, the cold air is dispelled, and the sky is a bright, sunny blue. "Do you want a cookie for your way back?"

A winged figure stood against the moonlight, its orange eyes gleaming in the darkness, it let out a maniacal laugh. Its voice echoed around you, making every shadow and dark lifeless thing come to life. You suddenly hear a clinking noise behind you, like the sound of chains, getting closer and closer you turn around to see a pair of white, lifeless, glowing eyes staring back at you. You try and run but before you can take a step something is in front of you, it is the winged figure. You realize now that the figure is a female with long dark hair and blood red wings with the skulls of previous victims. You stare in horror as she walks towards you, you freeze, petrified, you look down waiting for your fate to greet you in death. But nothing happens. You look back up to see her feet away from you, but she isn't attacking she seems to be waiting for something. Then without warning something barrels into you from behind, you crash to the ground, unable to breathe from the weight on top of you. You slowly turn your head to the side and you catch a glimpse of a huge bear with fangs, as sharp as steel, standing over you. You try to struggle free but it clamps one huge paw around the back of your neck. You notice now that the figure is kneeling in front of you. She commands you to look her in the eyes. You struggle to keep your head down but the paw around your neck tightens and you feel blood trickle down your neck. Finally you do as she says. Then in a playful tone she says, "It looks like you've found yourself in some trouble, now haven't you?"... "Now I could let you go and spare your life... but where's the fun in that?" she gives one last evil grin before everything goes black.

Spring storms
Well this will take some explaining. Anyone who lives in tornado ally would now about the tornadoes that come in the spring. That's what these two are based on. I wanted to show the more destructive side of spring showers.
