Go into your wardrobe (it's under the account tab) and you can change the base there

Thank a bunch! I really appreciated your help!
And neat outfit by the way. Hope one day I'll have a cool outfit too.
Oh, and I found an egg while exploring. Howmdo I take care of it?

You can nurture your eggs and hatchling by going to your hatchery (also under the account tab). From there just click on the sylesti you want to nurture and you'll get a pop up with several options (let me know if you want to know which is which, I don't want to spoil it if you want to figure it out on your own)

You can nurture them once a day until they become adolescents

Nah I'll just be surprised. I'm guessing the way I take care of it will decide the gender or species of it. I already warmed it up so I guess I'll find out what it is when it hatches. Thanks again for your help. And if you need some help nurturing your eggs just ask.

Nurturing pets boost it's stats for when it hatches, I don't think it has an impact on gender, and no effect on the species.
