Hey there, sad Loki here. Looking for any information on april 2013 monthly avatar outfits. Desperate enough, huh? :D
Anyway, it won't hurt to try. Here we go:

Um, have you seen those items? Do you know anyone who has any of them? Or even would be willing to sell? I have gold. And a lot of other avatar items (which are way more cheap and obtainable though). And, erm, some scale shop items..?

Well, if I'd ever get lucky enough to find a person with an either of those outfits, I'm sure we'd come to a fair deal; the problem is, I never get lucky enough those items seem really, really rare. :c

Since this is an "existence check' xD If you're looking to see who has the items, it would probably just be the older players (2013/2014 signup dates).

Ah before I get your hopes up D: , although I do have a 2013 signup date and have the items as well, I'm not planning to sell the former (swashbuckler's garmets) as it's one of my favorites in the game. Perhaps in the future I might be interested in selling the latter, but not right now.

My guess is to bet on getting lucky that they become re-available on a Black Friday sale in the Fall. (They were re-available in their set in the 2014 sale, but not in the 2015 sale. And given the apparel that was available last Black Friday sale, chances are looking a bit slim this year.) Or better yet, try to petition to the admins to make old monthly re-available in some other way somehow. (probably easier?)

well, even the older players seem to wear something other than those outfits, and even if I was sure they have the outfits I'm searching for, spamming all those persons with a "gimme your items please" requests is the last thing I'd do. but once again, I think I've never actually seen anyone in those outfits. maybe the female version of the garments... but that's all. ;_;

thanks for letting me know. ^^ it's fine if you're not selling them. however, may I ask, if you were selling those outfits, how much would you ask for them? /I know that other people might value the items for completely different prices, but I need as many opinions as possible/

oh, that's an event I've heard of. though I don't know much about it. /guess there are some guides out there/
I'll go write something nice in the thread suggesting to re-release monthly items. however, /since you've been here longer than me and probably know more about the site's administrators/ how often do the admins actually do something that was discussed in the suggestion forums? I've seen them replying in some threads, but I'd like to know if there is something specific that was suggested by players and then done by the admins... so I'd know if there are any chances.

Ah, I meant that I remember seeing some older players wearing the outfits in the past; so your endeavor isn't hopeless. Unfortunately my memory isn't good enough to remember who wore what. D:

Ah, that's a hard question. Maybe 1.5-2k dia range? //I'm biased though.

Edit: I just wanted to note that there is a difference in a seller looking to sell and a buyer looking to buy.

The admins are actually very very very receptive towards the community and the community's ideas. A lot more so than pretty much any other site of its type. Lots of suggestions in the suggestion box get made, or get put on the to-do list for new-sylestia (the revamped version of sylestia after the megazone's release). The quickest example that comes to mind, is that in the earliest stages of the site, I had been battling a lot, and suggested for an easy way to add and remove pets to ones party. No more than a month or two later the Party feature was made.

But pertaining towards diamond-type items, they are a bit more careful, since it is what involves their livelihood.

well, let's just hope that some more old players will see this thread and one of them will kindly offer to make a deal with me. or not.
...maybe asking people if they want to sell stuff isn't that bad. however, a couple of days ago I've been totally ignored while trying to ask if it was possible to set some cats for breeding. that was... demotivating. not willing to ask anyone again. ;_;

you're right, there's a difference. but considering the circumstances, I have to gather as much info as possible. so your opinion is important.~ also that price doesn't look too scary actually. almost 6 mil gold, but considering the circumstances once again, it seems fine.
actually, it would be great to know when and for how much were those outfits sold in past years. may google help me of course, but some deals could be made with private messages and trade broker... the information on those outfits is not easy to get. just like the outfits themselves. ;_;

and it's also great to hear that players' ideas get to be realized. I've seen a lot of good suggestions there; hope they'll be approved.

yeah, anything related to real money investments can be tricky... but re-releasing monthly items would get them more donations, right? though I guess they care more about the community, not the money.

P.S.: that was a long post indeed. sometimes I wonder if my phrases sound too official... or just emotionless. I usually have hard time explaining my feelings in my native language; I can only guess how miserably I fail at this in a foreign one. :D ...sorry for whining, it was just a random thought.

Every user is different. Some are more reclusive than others, so I wouldn't be afraid to send a PM or two. But of course don't make yourself feel pressured. Would not want to accumulate stress from a game meant to destress.

I guess to obtain most items on here, it just takes some luck, gold and a bit of time. You joined in February of this year it seems, so I think you'll get them eventually if you keep at it. :) It's taken me a whole year to find an item after all. (I don't know if that's reassuring or the opposite otl)

Ah, for the party feature, it was just a general suggestion. Krin did all the hard work, from designing the feature to implementing it. So I feel embarrassed being called the author of it. ahah

Mm, I believe the community is taken into account as well. I'm sure the last thing anyone would want, would be for re-releasing items to turn into how gaiaonline currently is. It's pretty crazy on there! O_O

And @ your P.S. message. Nah you're good. xD I know someone in RL where every single thing they write looks like it's meant to be in a business e-mail: curt, to the point, and void of anything that could possibly resemble an emotion. Trust me, you are very far from that. c;

I think you're more likely to find someone with the Swashbuckler's outfit. It was rather popular when it came out so I'm certain there are people out there with it. Whether they want to sell it or not is another question....

I actually just notice this thread now. I have the royal court motley. I used to wear it all the time when I was obsessed with Cicero XD but I haven't worn it since probably 2013. I'd be willing to trade if you still want it.
