Hey guys,

I was trying to get some more scales when I received an essence.

Does this happen often and what kinds of essence can you receive?

When you're nurturing sylestis there is a rare chance of receiving an essence. The type of essence you get I believe depends on the species you're nurturing when you get it. For example if you're nurturing a Zolnixi egg/hatchling, you have a small chance of getting a Nixi essence.

I believe you can get essences for all species this way but it's rare

do you know what the odds are for an essence? also, how would i get the better essences?

It's completely random and based on luck, you could get 2 in a row, or not get a single one after a thousand of nurtures.

As said before, the essence you receive is based on the sylesti you nurtured, however, I'm not too clear about whether rarer essences can be found/appear less often

regular and enhanced essences can be found through nurturing/ battling/ opening satchels. Drops are rare for regular, and even rarer for enhanced.

Mystical essences can only be bought from the diamond shop, or from the trade broker if there are players selling it.

My total scale count is over 2,000 and I have recieved 2 essences, so it's completely random.
