I was thinking and contemplating as I was test breeding pets, what if there was a potion that let you nullify only hidden traits? Now I know it's hard to know if your pet has any hidden traits but say your pet has a dominant hidden trait and it shows up during breeding rather than the trait you want. Example tribal stripes on a Nixi shows up when neither parents have it (...Sue me I don't like that gene) it would be nice to Nullify it.

I like the idea, except the hidden part of the trait makes up part of the gene that allows a pet to be visible. So, would nullifying a hidden cause the pet to become a carrier rather than a visible?
For instance
Pet visible EF (F is hidden) nullifying hidden causes the pet to become EN (a carrier rather than a visible)
or would it set the trait to be homogeneous?
E.g.
EF visible with hidden F carry becomes EE visible.
Hmm.

No, hidden traits don't allow other traits to be visible. I use a chrome thing that allows me to see if there are hidden background traits and, for instance, generated pets have no hidden traits yet they still have visible traits so I don't think hidden traits effect visibles? I think yes, it would just set the trait to what you said.
EF visible would simply become EE Visible. I didn't know how to explain it XD

Huh? I am now confused.
I thought it was like this:
When a EE parent mates with an FF parent, the result is an EF offpsring where F is hidden and the E part is expressed as visible. The hidden does contribute to the visible gene...nullifying the hidden F would cause the offpsring to become a carry.
Is a hidden trait something different?

No that's just what that is, a hidden trait. But what the nullifyer would do is take that hidden trait and just erase it and change the EF into an EE maybe?
Or even if it just changed it into a carry it could still be useful for projects.
