Does anyone still play Neopets? What pets do you have?

Mine:

Rusting is supposed to zap Robot coloured so I can trade him for an unconverted werelupe but instead he likes to change his gender every other day and gain and lose the same three movement points. :I

I have two others on my side but they aren't all that important to me. o3o; I threw them out. :v

If you do play, what are your dream pets?

No, I don't still play. I still have access to my old account, though, and hop on every other year or so to check up on things.

I used to play Neopets (about 10 years ago) but I could never get my head around it! I had an Aisha and I really wanted to paint her the astronaut theme.

Every now and then I make a new account and play the game but it's just not the same as it was :P

If you wanted to get that same alien aisha today you'd have to get really, really lucky or sell your soul to trade for one, their aesthetic is super popular I guess?

I wanted all the paintbrushes. Especially Darigan, Egyptian, Space but I had no idea how to get them. That game is a nightmare tbh xD

can you still only have 3 pets at a time, and is the giant omelette still a thing? I loved the giant omelette.

I'm also curious that the pets have backgrounds now. :O.

99.9% of the pets are flash customizable, the only exception are the expensive painted pets that were their colour before the site revamp in 2007. Those are worth boatloads.

You can have 4 pets, and 5 if you have their premium account service, but you can have 4 sides + 1 main account for a total of 20 pets if you really needed all of that space.

The omelette does still exist. :p

I was very active about 2 years back when I returned because of nostalgia and boredom.No longer that active because I'm feeling like nothing ever happens there -_-, but I log in occasionally to check the stock market haha. You can find me as chinthe.


I love love my pets there~ The one on the left is the nerdy Occam and his annoying sister Pypette. I have like a comic backstory that ties into some art freebie service I did for the users there. So cruel of me abandoning them alone for so long :'-(

It's not the best time to come back tbh, they've had a problem with cheaters using a lot of bots and added captchas to user and pet pages. :I

I was very sad when they closed down Habitarium and Key quest. And I think there haven't been a plot in like forver and the only thing new on the news feature iare customisation clothing. I even went back during April fools to see if anything was on :'(
