Hi, is there a way to search for sylestis based off their generation number?

I am looking for 2nd generation sylestis for breeding, but they seem to be impossible to find in large numbers. I do not think there is anything that can make this search easier, but I am still hoping there is some trick that I don't know about. Thanks for your help.

@Forester,
By 'generation number' and '2nd generation sylestis' do you mean something like 'children of themed pets'? or 'children of generated pets'? (Trying to understand what you are attempting to do)

No, there is no way to search for pets based on their generations.

I'm assuming you're asking this because you want to find breedings with purebred themed pets?
If so, what I sometimes do is that I search for the original tagged pets, and see their info to find out if any has been bred. If they have, I'll check their lineage to see if any of their kids is available for breeding.

I mostly only do this when I want a specific trait for a themed that is not available on the tagged pets for public breeding. This is still doable, though a little tedious, if you're only looking at the first few generations. Otherwise there will be a lot of pets to check. >.<

The next best thing you can do would be to set the advanced search to "offspring", available for breeding "yes", order by "pet ID", and search from there, starting from the pet ID after the first of that themed was introduced. Again, this will only work for themed pets, but you'll need to recognise the theme colours, and double check the pet's lineage before breeding.

This method can generate a lot of results sometimes, so it might be good if you specify a few traits. But doing that might also mean you can't find what you want. =/

Taptothebeat: The answer to your question is "Yes." I am looking for sylestis that are the children of generated, tamed, and exclusive sylestis. These offspring, according to their family tree, are considered to be second generation.

I just hoped that since the family tree goes to such extents to tell you the sylesti's generation number and its in-bred percentage, that there was a way to search for sylestis based on this information. Otherwise, what's the point of keeping track?

Wonderfulb2uty: Thank you for your answer. I had not thought to use the Pet ID to help indicate its generation. I had always sorted the offspring based off their breeding fees, and that's where I'd get inundated with thousands of 24th generation sylestis with breeding fees of 10 golds.

Thank you both for responding to this post. It means a lot to me that you would take time out of your day to write an answer to my question.

Thanks again.
