Uh, so what would be considered pure? I was going to just leave the colours as is, what are you other purebred breeders doing?

Personally I would not consider them part of the true theme anymore if the colour was changed. It would basically be the same as dying them *shrugs*

To me keeping the colors as they are is what makes more sense. At least that way we are all in the same page rather than having pets with the same theme name but different color combinations.
When the Aurleons were revamped I did change the colors of some re-generable purebred offspring so I could make my own designs, but I don't consider them themed anymore.

I feel similarly. It's a lot faster to keep them the same anyway, and I am lazy whenever I can be. :p
