You use the "URL=" button.
You type the name / word whatever, highlight it and then click the "URL= button", enter the URL in the pop-up box and click confirm.
Alternatively, if you want to do it by hand, you'll need to type (without the *):
[*url=http://yoururlhere.com*]text here[*/url*]
