I just finished the meeting point quest and I choose to go into the tent and rescue Jinxie. If I had chosen to help the gaurdsmen fight the bandits would Sheriff Thyrm not have died? Would the bandit leader have gotten away with Jinxie? Please let me know

I'm not sure, but I remember Sheriff Thyrm didn't die, and that Jinxie made it out. We got inside the tent and had to fight two Vulnyxes, but I'm pretty sure that would have happened anyways.
