Small request here. Insignificant request but useful to some people.

Unless I'm stupid and you can but I don't think you can.

I noticed you can edit the topic but not the title of said topic. Whenever a forum update takes place, would it be possible to change this? If a major update or problem comes up it's useful to be able to edit the title.

Examples would be if you need to like, put (temporarily closed) or something else in, say, an art request topic. Or you can edit the post to say when an auction is ended and a winner is declared, or when you have a sale topic and everything gets sold.

I just think it's extremely useful to be able to edit the title of a topic.

This has been suggested before and declined for a couple of reasons, the main thing being that it's hard for people to find topics again if their title has been edited. That would cause problems in the case of auctions and such. I personally feel like it should be a user's own responsibility to keep track of threads by bookmarking them if it's really THAT important, so I would like the ability to edit the titles, but that's where things stand at the moment. XD I feel like there was another reason this type of suggestion has been declined, but I don't remember what. :c

You can always send either me or Krinadon a PM if you need your title edited.

I said it's one of the reasons this suggestion has been shot down in the past. I don't know the full extent of it, just that this suggestion will not be accepted.
