I would prefer gold over diamonds, but if you're nice enough I may be willing to accept diamonds as well, I usually price at 2500 per diamond but feel free to negotiate as times have changed here.

Unfortunately I just spent all my gold, so I've only got diamonds left. Is there any chance you'd take them for it? Would 200 diamonds be a decent opening offer?

If you would like to buy it with gold I can hold it for you, I don't mind; I can also do a "payment plan" if you'd like to buy with gold as well. (only saying this as some people only offer diamonds BECAUSE they don't have gold, not that they want to). I would even be willing to put off payments during the festival since I know those are gold grubbers. (and this goes for anyone else that reads this!)

But I will certainly take diamonds for the staff if that is what you want to do. :)
