As you attempt to merge them, they grow into a larger clump. It almost looks like a misshapen part of a crown. You shrug and continue on foot until you reach a flowering meadow. A small Zolnixi is sitting there with her mother, fiddling with another gem. You can:steal the gem, ask for it, or ignore them and pull it to you.(You have slight telekinesis)

I'll ask for the gem

The Zolnixi stares at you, your feathers caked in mud and grime, and smiles. She hands you the gem and her mother offers to bring you to the lake for a bath and food. Do you accept?

You run to a crossroads, where the choices are north east or west. Choose one.

East

You run East, to find yourself in a thicket of trees. A lunemara is flying around, until she spots you and buzzes towards your head. You can attack, run, or negotiate.

I Graciously accept the gem, but do not take the bath for the kindness they have already paid.
I thank them and take to the sky.

While flying I scan the ground for anything of interest.

Negotiate

You spot a Lupora frantically waving at you. You stop and she says,"The queen has been captured!" You ask who and she replies,"the Darkwood Bandits." You fly up and:hunt for the bandits,look for the other hatchlings, or rest.
