On certain pets it says ex. "Can Re-Generate 12 trait points." How does that work?? What would you do with that??

A few months back, those species had their lineart revamped, and it was a drastic enough change for some of the gene/mutation colors to be thrown off, so their owners got the opportunity to regenerate their pets, so they could fix any unwanted color changes and make their pets prettier.
You use the Generator, and it's just like designing a pet, only there are a few limitations on the colors you can use, and I think there are a few off-limit genes/mutations.
