These are all more natural poses and positions for the human female. I used a BING search for images of cartoon figures to make it a bit easier for your artists, but the search turned up some that were not cartoons as well, so I also got some others too that are pictures of real people, which are intended as a focus on natural, normal postures.

That's fine, I didn't see it and figured it would be moved if it needed to be.

Anyway, the problem with the current legs is that both knees are bent which means there is no support for the weight of the body...which means it looks off anyway. Then, one leg is severely twisted giving the female avatar a crippled look. This only really works if you provide the figure with crutches and bandages to go with the posture.
So, since you're drawing cartoon forms, I thought I'd help.

While I don't disagree that our bases need new poses, it just isn't a feasible task at this time. If we changed the poses even by a few pixels, it would mess up every outfit and/or backs/wings/heads/helds that are in existence and would be probably hundreds to thousands of hours of rework to fix.
At this time, we are contemplating more of a dual-system at some point down the road when Sylestia is revamped. But nothing has been decided or set in stone yet. If we went with a system like that, it would keep the old items and the old bases as they are and players can either opt to use them or use a new system with new poses and new artwork. Again, this is just a brainstorm atm.
But it just really isn't feasible to rework the old system because of how much artwork is dependant on it.
Just as a quick example, there are 368 outfits in game atm. Just for a simple pose change, we would have to go through all 368 outfits, locate their PSD files (which would be challenging for the older outfits lol), change the colors, shading, and lineart to match the new pose. It would literally be hundreds of hours of work just for a simple pose change. It just isn't really something that'd be feasible.

But for when you do get around to it, are these postures something that are useful, not to mention that other little item I sent to your inbox explaining the weight distribution/center of gravity issues?
And would it be more feasible to at least not have the female costumes very nearly exposing the females in that way? Drop the hemline in front. On some of those costume, you can actually see the underwear. Full length or at least knee length skirts, pants, shorts, etc, would be nice. Something that covers the knees and shows only the foot positions...easier to alter, I think, at least for new outfits.
Also, what about changing the posture and position with new outfits? Something that is flattering to female players and if those postures and positions come WITH particular outfits, as part of loading that outfit? that would probably work as it'd be part of the artwork for the item.

Hope y'all don't mind my butting in a little, but I agree that some of the female clothes are considerably too revealing. I have made a point of removing from my wardrobe (or simply not buying) things I feel are inappropriate. I haven't seen any of the male clothing being too revealing, and to me that seems.....unfair. Please understand, what I'm saying is that if you are going to allow the male characters to be modest and cover themselves appropriately, shouldn't you do the same for the females? Especially since most of the player base is female. To me this is one of the few unsatisfying aspects of the game.

I'm just popping in randomly here, sorry, but I completely agree. In fact, I sometimes change the base to a man's if I dislike the female's. Some of the outfits make the ladies expose too much. I'd really appreciate a huge outfit revamp.

I'm guessing that there are a lot of parents that take one look at the female outfits and refuse to allow their kids to play. The membership might be bigger and parents more willing to allow kids to buy diamonds if the gender bias weren't so blatantly obvious.
