You walk along the path, glancing wearily at the forest to your left. A twig snaps, and you jump in surprise. A large cat-like creature tumbles in front of you, a similar looking one leaping on top of it. The one on top growls playfully, and you rush forward, not realizing they were just playing. The creature on top steps off just before you reach them. As you get a closer look at the duo, you realize they are vulnyxs, a native species from around here.
The vulnyx from the bottom steps up, and walks towards you. You smile, patting its head before trailing your fingers down its spine. "What are you doing out here all alone?" you ask, and the vulnyx from the top steps forward. Her wings flap before, surprisingly, she clears her throat.
"My name is Mystic, and my twin sister over there is Mystique," the vulnyx who had cleared her throat declars.
"As for the reason that we're out here, well, we came searching for travelers like you," Mystique jumps in.
"Well, why are you searching for travelers?" you ask, clearly confused. Mystic rolls her eyes before slapping a massive paw down.
"We came looking to see if you have a few items. My owner, Adder, is looking for a set of items. She really likes them, you see, and wants to make her look a mystic, cloaked person. It looks like this." Mystic leans down before lifting her head up, a piece of paper with a surprisingly detailed drawing on it.
You stare at the paper intently before signaling for the twins to lead you to their master. Mystique leaps happily on to a lithe figure in a leaf-like dress. With her, she carries two zolnixis and has hair down to her shoulders.
"Are you here because you have some items or want to trade?" Adder asks, and you nod happily.
"Might I ask, what exactly are the names of the items you want?" you ask, and Adder smiles.
"Well, they're called Woodsman's Hood, Sylestian's Engineer Outfit (Casual), and Moonlit Staff. I take it Mystic's already shown you the paper?" You nod at Adder's question, and start digging.
"What do you have?" you ask, and Mystique runs up to you.
You start petting Mystique, and Adder starts to reply. "Well, just look in my stables. I would just like to ask that you not touch the twins. If you want to know what items or avatar items, just ask. Here's a list of all the pets in my stables." Adder hands you a list, and you look at it.
