Why can't we sell our starter sylestis?

I personally don't want to sell mine, but I would like to buy other people's starters, who do want to sell, and I am disappointed that it doesn't seem to be possible. It's wasteful to me that you can't sell a starter. You can only release it.

Anyway, this thread is just to see if there is a reason behind this aspect of the game, and if it is likely to change in the future.

Well, that's to help prevent people making multiple accounts, creating a starter, and then selling it to their main account. That's basically letting people get unlimited free pets, which is against the terms of service. However, you can still breed your Starter with other people's Starters, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, thanks for responding Texaspooky. I didn't think about the cheating aspect.

You know, since none of us are really competing directly with each other, I wouldn't mind if someone ran more than one account and traded with themselves. Essences are just too expensive and a lot of players are really tight about the breeding rights to their pets. I should know, I wrote to a lot of people asking for coverings from enhanced/starter vulnyxes with similar traits as Lizzy, my starter.
