The keeper takes care of familiar eggs, hatches them, discovers their species and talent and tells them. Whenever a Familiar is unable to take care of them, they bring it to the keeper. You then have the option of staying, or leaving. You can always visit the keeper, for a blessing- or curse of immortality was passed onto him. Good luck! You look around, wandering who was speaking, and so did everyone else. You see a fox with eyes glossed. Hmm. Does that mean foxes have telepathy?

The Keeper liked this litter, though he frowned upon the fact that there were no crabs or lizards. For dragon's sake, that was NOT called balance. But the dragons had willed this, and so he must comply. He looked at the list of names on his notepad. Hmm... Looks like Mazer, or should I say Maze will be the leader. Fiery eyes, and an uncommon hybrid between snake and cat. Will probably use physical attacks, but has a magical blade. Her mother's potion will come in useful. The oldest in the group. Another hybrid too. A prideful cat fox. Something that seems powerful, but really is a disadvantage. She will be torn in two, her mental side, and her physical side.
Something interrupted The Keeper's thoughts. Jade, a hybrid who had stayed with The Keeper seemed to be interested in this litter. Zy the snake too. "You want to go with them Jade? Zy?" The Keeper questioned. The bird fox and the snake nodded.

They will be coming with you on your journey also. The rest of the animals and I will help too, of course. You kids have the top-left part of the store to yourselves. Clear?" The familiars nodded. "Good.

Poppy's ear flopped over, and she tilted her head. "Oh-kay?" She said, still a little amazed by the world around her. She'd just hatched, after all. She took a subtle bite at the air and said, "I call dibs on that!" She pointed her nose to a ledge to the left of her. She then scampered that way, bumping into a large-ish puppy.

Digger was confused. "How long until we are four? What is four exactly?" He saw the German Shepard barrel past and flinched to one side, bumping into a golden-colored fox. "S-sorry!"

Zy slithered over to the newly hatched animals, a pride welling up in his heart as he saw them. They were so small, and the older animals gave so much hard work for these little guys! They were already running into each other and questioning random things. For a few seconds, he had to restrict himself from bursting into laughter.
He curled his long body around a few shelves, watching the little ones from above. His golden-green eyes were suddenly alert, full of a new protectiveness for them. Pain would have to go through Zy if it wanted to even touch the cute little babies that were playing excitedly below him.
"If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask me!" his voice rang out so everyone in the room could hear him. "Or Jade, if you want." He grinned.

"Oww!" Lam looked at the puppy,"What was that for!"


Du got up and looked to his side, seeing a fox about to bump into him,"Oww!!!" he lifted up his paw and licked it.

Maze saw Digger confused, so she went over. "I don't know how long till four. Maybe Zy or Jay can tell us?"

Digger felt terrible for bumping into him. "Sorry!" he apologized again. He then turned to the snake. "How long is four?"

Poppy looked down from the shelf. "Whoops, sorry!" she had a playful tone to her voice.

"It's okay."



"Yeah, it's Okay!" he said playfully

As I sat among the broken shells I looked around at the other hatchlings. Wild instinct spread through my viens and I backed into a corner growling. There was to many, and one was a human! Panic over took me, I had to get out! My veins suddenly became visible(weird side effect from potion) to show I was afraid.
