I have just hatched possible my most favorite Griffi ever. She is SO CUTE. I need a name that will match my love for her. Please Help!!
I like weird names or classic names with weird spellings, names meaning ordinary things but being in a different language, and god/goddess names. Please include why you chose that name.

not sure if you have a name for her yet but here are a few ideas (and yeah theyre all latin)

Magicae (magic)

Vitae (life)
Lux (light)
Regina (queen)
Pecus (beast)
Mirabile (amazing)
Avem (bird)
Stella (star)
yeah. not great i know- but i like latin (googled them)

How about Cassiopeia? Not only is it the name of a star, it's also the name of a woman from Greek mythology. She was the vain mother of Andromeda who boasted that both she and her daughter were more beautiful than the nereids (Sea nymphs). This angered Poseidon and he sent a sea monster to destroy the kingdom. One that, on talking to oracles, was decided would only be stopped by the sacrifice of Andromeda. (Who was later saved by Perseus and then married him.) As Poseidon felt Cassiopeia should still be punished he chained her to a throne in the heavens as a reference to Andromeda's ordeal.
I think the name has alot of character, and as you feel your Griffi is so adorable (true! ^.^) it kinda fits! Though I guess in that case I could also suggest Andromeda as a name too (for the same reasons!) So I'll do that as well! ^.^

Khione!
In Greek mythology, Khione was the daughter of Boreas, the god of the North wind. Not only did she have kick-butt ice and snow powers, she was also very pretty. Beautiful yet dangerous. :3
