I defeated Dreadnaught at Esior's fields. Then Jinxie tells me to go to Esior's haven to report to the sheriff, but she disappears when I get into Esior's haven. The whole tier is gone. I tried refreshing and it didn't do anything. She appears on all the other screens...

Once you defeated Dreadnaught, did you continue exploring once more? There's a dialogue after that's required to advance everything.

Once you have, returning to Esior's Haven should bring up a dialogue box. Go through the dialogue, accept the new Quests that are available, and then continue to the next Zone.

I went back to the fields to make sure I did, but it said that the fields are cleared and Jinxie says-

Esior's Haven has new locations,compared to before, and there are no new quests. Went to the barracks to see if that would do anything. No dialog boxes or anything else.

Seems somehow your progress got a little messed up. I corrected the issue.

Visiting Esior's Haven should now properly advance the story for you. Please let me know if otherwise.

I have umbra forest open, and the nightfall dungeon. but I still haven't completed the meeting point quest. I beat his sylesties, but then the line stopped it resumes when I went to esor's haven with the sheriff instead. Jinxie still says:



I've gone around the bandit camp and the story line hasn't continued to meet what the sheriff said in esior's haven. Also, the old template has that que     st and the new template has the saerielle quest. I tried abandoning the quest and taking it up again and it didn't do anything. Sorry.

The quest should now be completed and Jinxie's box thing should be on the right step...

I have no idea what's happening. Out of over 5000 users, you're the first to encounter such issues. It appears as when you take certain steps (like finishing a zone), it's just ignore half of the queries to the database that it's supposed to make.

So when the code tells it to increase your zone steps, jinxie step, quest progress, etc... it just does like the first one and ignores the rest. Did anything peculiar happen when you finished the bandit camp? Like the page froze or took a long time to load, or you got logged out or something?

The page froze, it showed the opposite field even though I just beat them and got the end of battle report. So I refreshed, that usually get thing back to where they were... but instead it just acted like I was exploring a place that I already finished. Then it got me into a battle with a normal sylestie. Later I went to esior's haven to heal my sylesties and then the sheriff talked to me about the next step of the quest.

Hm. I see. I'm not sure what happened then, but it definitely appears as though your query just stopped processing midway through. That is why some stuff was advanced (like your zone progress), but other stuff wasn't (like Jinxie's tutorial and the quest progress).

If something like this happens again, let me know and I will try to investigate further.
