So yeah, is it possible? Because I will want another stable but it costs 500 diamonds. I have 0. Do you have to pay real money or is there a way to do it with the online currencies? In my opinion, free games where you have to spend real money to get important stuff are kinda ridiculous. This game isn't bad but my opinion of it will be greatly lowered if it turns out that you have to spend actual dollars... Just saying!

If you go to the trade tab and click on the section that says 'exchange'. There you'll find people selling diamonds for gold. Just click the button to 'search for diamonds' and you'll find the current offers up for sale ^.^ It's very possible to buy enough over a little time to get anything you want without spending money. I did that for at least my first 6 months (since then I've spent a good bit of real money, but that's because I love it here and want to help finance the place I play. I could still be getting diamonds this way if I wanted, otherwise ^.^)

Besides buying diamonds using gold on the currency exchange, sometimes (very rarely) during festivals, the game does give small rewards of diamonds, usually between 1-10.

In december, we usually have an advent calendar to celebrate the game's anniversary as well as the winter festival. Last year, one of the prizes was 200 diamonds.

So you can get free diamonds. Just that they are rare and usually few.
It's much better to save up gold and buy them on the exchange if you don't want to spend real money.
