Hi everyone, not entirely new, but I am having trouble with the three trolls that guard( block) the cave entrance in the Grotto of Umbra Forest. They keep on knocking out my main pet in my party, or one of the others. ~~~Tips?~~~

If I remember correctly, the trolls will jump out at you and will always knock one pet unconscious from the start, so you'll need some revival and health elixirs on hand.

In summary, choose between strength or intelligence. So if you add points to one, don't add any points to the other. Strength increases physical damage, while intelligence increases magical damage, and your pet will use the damage type which is higher, so any points added to the other will be wasted.

Likewise, use equipment that adds more to the stat you've chosen. Don't use equipment that splits points equally between both/all stats. Relics should give a boost to the damage type you've chosen as well, instead of adding to the opposite/splitting between both damage type.

If you do these, your pets should be more efficient in battle.


I can't rmb if there is a pattern for this battle, but keep a look out on the battle text box, as well as any symbols on your pets/the trolls to determine if there are anything you have to avoid/defeat first.

Otherwise, you can explore in a lower zone to get max health and mana before entering the battle.
