We would like to announce everything that we have in store throughout the next few weeks for Sylestia.

We are currently finishing up the Level 26-50 Arena Bracket and will release it this weekend. With it will come 5 new bosses, a new challenge, and the ability to unlock the Adept Gladiator rewards.

Please note, in order to access the Adept Gladiator Bracket, you must have completed the Aspiring Gladiator Bracket.

We are also working on some new Avatar Styles and a brand new species. The new species will be Sylestia's first Fabled species. Fabled species are much rarer, more powerful, and have longer breeding recovering times than Sylestia's other species. This Fabled species will only be obtainable from the Arena (or Diamond Shop). We have not determined 100% on how, but it will be only from the Arena.

Once all of that is released, we will be working on upgrading, moving, and adding items to the Scale Shop and Diamond Shop. The main goal here is to just simply make some current items more desirable and offer new items.

Next, we will work on the Black Market - an underground auction house/shop/something that will sell items no longer obtainable in game. When released, it will pretty much offer Monthly Avatar Items that are no longer available. The currency for buying these items will be Diamonds. We have yet to work out any further details.

Then, finally, once all the above is released, we will work on the Zones for Astryl's Vale and release them as fast as we can.

So there you have it in a few paragraphs - our goals for the next month or so.

It's possible. We haven't decided how it'll work though. It could be an auction house, shop, or something else entirely.

So don't make any assumptions at this point.

Most of that sounds pretty exciting.. except for the part about the Scale Shop.

I am curious about how the new Fabled species will work. Is this the intention of the Breed tab on the generator and search, or just a rarer type of Sylesti? I assume from the discussion on the Hybrid Suggestion thread that the Breed tab will add some secondary type of the species that already exist, allowing cross-breeding in those specific constraints. Is that what the Fabled are, sort of like new types of the existing species, or just a rarity?

Also, is it yet known how they will be available from the Arena? Ie: Will there be buyable essences? Are essences assured non-droppable from the rest of the game for them, and if so, is there going to be any access to Enhanced Essences of them outside of the Diamond shop?

Unfortunately, I really can't see any means of making the Scale Shop more appealing, because the only method to get scales is tedious and dull. It is more like a straight up chore inside a game than actually being a part of a game. >.> I don't really like hearing that things will be moved there. Does this mean we will lose access to buying things we could previously buy with gold, that will now only be purchaseable with nurturing?

Sounds like a lot of exciting and interesting stuff to come.

Nothing is being exclusively moved to the Scale Shop.

We will be adding more items to the Scale Shop that do not currently exist.

While not everyone may enjoy nurturing, a lot of users participate in that feature. We decided to offer that feature because of how popular sites like Pokefarm are where they basically only offer "egg clicking". Since it seems that people do seem to enjoy it, we decided to offer it as a feature on Sylestia.


As far as the Fabled species, it will be an entirely new species - not a new breed. We also have not determined how it will be available from the Arena.
