I'd like to toss out the suggestion of an item to speed up growth from adolescent to adult or even by just 10 or so days. I think this item would make the most sense in the diamond shop or, as suggested in chat, the scale shop. c:

Yes please! I would love to have the opportunity to buy something to make my pets age faster so i can breed them!

The idea is lovely, but this sort of thing crosses into the realm of "pay to win", in my opinion.
We can already pay to look into our pet's genes and mutations, and control what mutations we can have via payment... boosting the growth rate that is already WONDERFULLY long would just encourage people to not take the game as seriously.

I get that waiting almost a month for an egg to hatch and become an adult is really hard if you want to make all the babies... but I feel like that time weeds the casual players from the ones who are serious about the site. The serious players are the ones who will stay long term and spend the most money!

The only long term benefit I see is of course money to keep the site running... a fortune could be made. But as a player, I am very wary about it.

Well unless you maybe make one that boost it for
only a few days, costing a certain price, could give
them SOME money and could make it a bit less
longer for us to wait to be ready to breed, especially
for long term breeding project, but it can also make it
"too" easy as well~ P=
But it'll really depends on the user, some are better
to wait for them to be adult because otherwise they'll
grow tired of the site faster, while other will just love
that feature and still enjoy the site and there's other
that will not care and just go the "old way"~ XD

I love this game but i do feel that the aging of your pets should not be as long it's frusterating as a game where you can breed to have to wait a mth or more to breed.

Please check the last time a post was made on a thread before replying to it. This suggestion was already implemented -- it's a diamond shop item called the Magical Pie.

Sorry i don't exactly read through every forum every post and every page kinda hard to take all the time that would cost plus i wasn't suggesting an item from the diamond shop (can't afford diamonds 3 kids low income) i was saying permanantly would be nice if the aging of all pets were a bit less.

The wait time really isn't that bad if you think about it. Hatchlings grow up pretty fast and eggs hatch even faster. I think it would be more convenient if they grew up faster, but 19/27 (Depending on if a pet is bred or generated) days isn't that bad of a wait. Think of it this way: It could be a *lot* worse lol. Besides, patience is a virtue.

Actually, while this doesn't work on adolescents, you can speed the growth of eggs and hatchlings by having people click them (not the most reliable way but a little effective)

I think, though, that if an item did come out in, say, the scale shop for making pets age faster, it could be similar to the magical pie, with the three day wait time, but only speed the growth by one day instead of three. This probably will not happen, but it is a suggestion. (Maybe some extra motivation to nurture egglings and hatchlings XD) Similar to how there is an unlimited test kit in the dia shop and a 1-time test kit in the scale shop.

I don't think aging should be permanently lowered. And like I said, it really could be a lot worse lol.
