Hello again everyone. I have only three questions this time.

1) How do you earn a title for your avatar?

2) Can you use a Genetic Mutator on a Starter Sylesti? I am thinking no, but I am hoping for a yes.

3) The Genetic Mutator descriptions say that the sylesti needs to be captured, so does it matter if the sylesti was captured by you or someone else for it to work?

1. Most titles are earned through games of one type or another, most often during festivals. I can't remember the other ways off the top of my head. Someone else might be able to better answer that lol

2. Genetic mutators can only be used on captured pets. Starters are generated pets, so they don't qualify.

3. It doesn't matter who captured it was long as it was captured. Also, only one mutator can be used per pet, so you cannot, say, catch a pet, mutate it, then sell it and have someone else mutate it too. This is why using a mutator on a pet before selling it will often lower the price. (mutated pets have a little black bottle above their genes and mutations on their profile to show that they have been previously mutated).

It's too bad about the mutator not working on a starter sylesti. But I think it might be fun to mutate one of the other sylestis I have. Then again, that takes a lot of scales and, so far, none of my sylestis need a mutation.

Titles are obtained when you meet a certain requirement. Like Mikazukichan said, most titles are obtained during festivals.

The only titles available all the time are Aspiring Gladiator, and Adept Gladiator. These are obtained when you win enough battles in the arena in the 3rd region (Astryl's Vale)

Otherwise, most titles are obtained during festivals when there are contests, special features, or official forum games. The most recent example would be the official forum game Create a Sylesti Valentine, where you get the title "Cutely Creative" by participating in the game.

So keep an eye out during festivals. Usually the festival overview will mention what titles can be obtained during the festival, and how.
