Wait, so hybrids can't be very smart at all? And over using their powers repeatedly, would they eventually get stronger?

Hybrids can get stronger at their powers by training, but only one ability's power is increased, and even so, not too much. Hybrids are more wild, and more street-smart, but they aren't really book smart.
