It says she doesn't have any trait points to spend? But on mine it let me have 4... Was that special or something?

All Starter Pets allow for 4 Trait Points.
Can she provide a screenshot of the error that she is receiving?

I have to wait for her to get home, but when she responds back, I'll send you one! Sorry for all the trouble...
Maybe the problem was we were using a school computer? But I checked by using an essence, and it showed the genes points for mine
Though while we are at it! My level is not 57? Its more like 20!

If you purchased a high level pet and then it leveled while under your ownership, your User Level would have jumped up like that.

Huh! Well, that's neat!
And I think she's fixed it? She was able to make her pet (that what she told me) and it has the correct gene points! I'm kind of suspecting it was because we were using the school computers?
I could make another, to see if it would happen again? Then you delete the new account?

That's alright.
If it was a script issue, it would just be because those computers were blocking scripts which is very possible from a public computer.
Sylestia isn't really tailored to those environments so that kinda stuff is inevitable.
