I think there are roughly 2 years worth of monthly items in existence. Since the creation of new monthly items has been discontinued, how about re-having the old monthly items on a 2 year cycle? Just like old themes repeat.

This way people can make custom items for old monthly items. And there is no new art to create?

Monthly items are usually re-released on around black friday, but there are so many it gets crowded anyway.

Definite support! There are so many old monthlies from the first year of the site I would love to be able to get all at once, instead of having to scrounge around for the pieces of all the ones I missed (most) because I had no money in high school.

Being a newer user *not extremely new, but around March I joined* I would love to get some of the older ones I missed! The only thing I think was, people have held on to them so they could re sell the old items when they were almost in little active accounts. Then when they were released again, bye bye value of saved chests.

May be have the come out, but a bit m or expensive? Even like an item that cost 100 diamonds originally, with a 10% fee, it would be 110 diamonds. Therefore not to give the older chests a dis advantage. Any percentage would work really though.

And if they were re release, I could get so many items *frolic in wardrobe* and the nine tails too <3

@Carrotbae,
I guess as someone who has a lot of the older monthly items, I feel like I can comment on this. The market value of these old monthly items hasn't actually increased that much compared to their original value. Especially when you take inflation into account.

Due to the quantity of these items, and the size of the user base, there is not enough demand for most of the items for the price to be much higher than the original price.

100% SUPPORT

I don't know when it was announced that there would be no new monthlies, as this is news to me, but I have noticed that there haven't been any new ones since last year, and it makes me sad. There were so many I wanted that I can't buy now because they aren't available anymore and very few people want to sell theirs.

Why not make them a permanent part of the diamond shop since there won't be any new ones? Give players another reason to buy diamonds, lol!

Monthly collections are normally available during the Black Friday sale. I'm not sure if I like the idea of releasing them monthly again as they'd become more common and lose value.

This past year only the monthly sets from the previous year were up for sale, not the ones from the first year or so the site ran. Which are the ones I, and likely many other people, would be interested in being re-released, as they're the hardest to find due to the tiny amount in existence. I don't think there's much concern of them losing value. From what I've seen, and as an avatar item hoarder I do pay attention, the monthly items don't tend to change in price. Most people stick with the diamond price from when they were available in the shop, sometimes plus a little bit more for profit. Inflation isn't really a big thing when it comes to the avatar items on this site, for whatever reason.

Ahh, I didn't realize only the recent ones were available this past year. Previously all of the older ones were re-released.

I just fear that if the items are going to be re-released on a 2 year cycle than they would lose value. It's inevitable that people would buy a whole collection and have some duplicates or people will buy just to resell for a chance of profit. I'm not saying the value would plummet, but it most likely would be affected if they were being re-released every few years.. especially if there will be some included in Black Friday sales. I've bought plenty of monthly items for much less than diamond price, at least a dozen at less than 150k gold. Just a few months ago I bought 4 pieces from an earlier collection for 60k a piece because there happened to be a couple others available at the time.

I'm not totally against re-releasing them, as there are plenty that I would buy, but I don't think a reoccurring cycle is the best solution. I guess I would just prefer something more limited.
