Arena Related: I think the Arena could stand to have it's own place for discussion. Strategy for it is ending up in the FAQ section, which is a bit cluttery. There is also one thread attempting to get discussion started in Battle Discussion. This is a perfectly suitable spot for Arena subjects, too. But I think at the very least the talk of it needs to move out of FAQ, since it's really not Q and A.

If the Arena is going to grow over time to encompass more enemies, I think it will outgrow the useage of Battle Discussion, however.

Newbie Friendliness: There's just something not very newbie friendly about letting a person see expensive (very much so to a newbie!) pet catching nets, read their description to know what they are used for, and assume they need them for a quest that doesn't actually use them.

Sure, it's stickied in the FAQ that the Sylesti catching quest actually goes against normal conventions of how to catch a pet on the site. But odds are people are going to have gone through some nets and frustraition before seeing that.

What I would like to suggest is a rewrite of that quest that asks you to distract a pet while *Jinxie* catches it, because she wants to practice pet hunting. Having Jinxie mention bringing her best magical net of fairydom or whatnot would be a plus. Jinxie could then mention that she's looking for just the right perfect pet to catch. She would then give the pet to you to help you get started in thanks for your aid, normal reward for the quest would be given, yada, yada.

Search Functions: As the site gets bigger, the searches current filters are just not going to be enough. I would like for a few things.

1: Search defaults to not showing released pets. Search for released pets could be flipped to, but there's no need to have them clogging up the Sales searches by default.

2: An option to tell the search to disclude pets that carry/show nothing. There are a great deal of pets up for breeding or sale that have no carried or shown traits. Since there is a limit on search results to be yielded, and an inactive users pets never actually die to disappear from the search, this is pushing pets more likely to have breeding appeal back off the search depending on one's searching parameters.

3: If the request for the item to make a pet unbreedable is added, an option to remove such pets from the search would be handy as well.

A Forum just for Arena discussion would be a good idea.

We are already planning on re-doing the tutorial and re-vamping Viridian Meadows after Astryl's Vale is finished.

And the search features is also something we need to improve someday.
