I don't remember the name either. I just remember it coming up and taking the poor guy away I actually don't think a name was ever mentioned.

EDIT: Here's a question... is there a Vulnyx for Ripple and Quake? XD And Blaze Qitari? I really wanna see those XD Maybe I'll go see if I can't get into all the dungeon doors lol...

I think that theres a design for each boss species, so it's very possible that theres a blaze Qitari or Vulnyx ripple It's just not documented yet, we I'm not too sure what their exact designs, except for their colours

Zolnixi Quake, Zolnixi Ripple, Ironfang, Zolnixi Gloom, Vulnyx Gloom, Prism Zolnixi, and Kimeria do not have their right images. It seems the new gene release has messed up posted images... o-o

Actually, I think they're supposed to look like that, either the new traits made them wonky or they've been updated. And I think this because I ran into a Prism Zolnixi the other day, and saw that it looked different..I saved the image and came here to post it, but then I saw the images were already changed and looked like what I saw. :0 But there's definitely something weird going on with the Gloom Vulnyx.
