Your eyes drift open to the scene of... A metal wall? It was dented in a few places, and seems to be more than a foot thick. You start to figure something out, but then the headache hits. The brief but intense flares of pain last a few minutes before stopping as suddenly as they started. In the center of the circular room is a glass cage- wait, is that black mist? Weird. The glass cage has black mist in it.

Jahara is one of the elder Eclipse. As such, she is more powerful than others of her kind and can hold her solid form for over a half-hour but it gives her an insanely painful headache. The obsidian blade she can solidify with her into human form is studded with amethysts. Normally a black cloud of mist with a humanoid frame capable of speech.


Skunktheloner's characters

Taichio is a young kitsune, around the age of 89. (Kitsunes live up to be around 300 years old.) He is quite weak for his age, and the High Kitsunes decided he would be better off in the Human Realm. His strength is growing rapidly though. He can create small, purple-blue flames on his tails to start fires and cause minor burns. His tails are also growing rapidly. He has 7 already, instead of the average Kitsune, which would only have 3 tail at his age. He likes to stay in his true form, but can take the form of a human for 5 hours. (32 hour cool down if 5 hours if used.) He cannot stay in his human form while asleep, unconscious, or knocked. (Knocked meaning: Suprised, or in great pain.) His human form has fox ears and tails, but he can make them invisible. (Still there, can be injured and knock things over.) {Thank you, Skunktheloner, for writing this.}

Jahara stands unmoving in the glass cage. She watches the newest subjects sleep, then wake up. A few of them look at her through the bars of their respective cages.

Taichio regains consciousness, chirping in surprise when he sees his surroundings. Standing up, the headache hits. "Yiaar...!!" he whines, rubbing his head. It ends. Blinking, he sees a dusky shape in a glass cage. "Chia! Tik, wiic!" he chirped. '(Hey! Where am I?)'

Jahara says something, but her cage is soundproofed and she has no mouth.

He chirped again, sticking his head through the bars. He tried pulling his head back in, but his neck stuck in. "Hick! Chi, Chi!" (Help! stuck, stuck!)

Jahara tilts her head, laughing silently to herself. Time to get someone out of this Chaurus-pit. Jahara condenses into her solid form, dagger in hand. A single strike from the blade and the glass shatters. The shards pass harmlessly through Jahara's misty figure as she steps down from the platform. Then the alarms go off.

He flattens his sensitive ears and chirps in surprise. His tails fluff up, and his whole body is engulfed in purple-blue flames. "YaiiiiiiiEEE!" he screeches. He squeals as the purple-blue flames melt the bars surrounding his head, melting into his fur.

Jahara shrugs, then solidifies and throws her obsidian blade at the alarm. It shatters and goes silent as she returns to mist form.
