Your not allowed to just give pets away. What you can do is just put them up for 1 gold.

Since you're relatively new, I'll put this lightly, a give-away in this instance is like a garage sale. I paid my own gold for some of these, I would like at least a portion of that money back. I'm not saying you should pay 1,000 gold for them, just more than 1 gold.
