So, I have two Sylvorpa pets that I'm breeding. My first, Guardian, has visible Seashell and visible Angler Lights. My second pet, Ballistic, has no visible or dormant traits.
Out of five children, 3 have visible Koi. How? Am I missing something? O.o

Ballistic hasn't been genetically tested. He would have Koi as a carried trait.

Ahhhh, I see! It confused me as visible traits show up on captures and I assumed it'd be the same for carried. Derp. Thanks for responding ^.^

I have to buy them off you first. You put them up to me for 1g and put my user ID number (277) in the "sell to user" bit.
I buy them then test them then give them back to you the same way.
