Ok, so saw a thread like this a while back and was inspired to post my steps in making a Skrillex Nyan cat stuffed animal. Inspiration found here: http://sta.sh/0njz3x611qy

Skrillex is a VERY famous dub step music artist. I am a VERY big fan. His iconic haircut has led to a lot of fan art owo

Patterning Finally Completed! Yay! 1/10/16

This only took two days.... I'm a bit scared now, what with school and all. But it will work! Please, if you have any tips on sewing something like this, post them! Also, don't be afraid to tell me what you think of it!

This looks good so far! The legs and tail seem a bit too skinny though. I'd reccomend doubling their width to make sure that they are plump enough. I want to see the final results. I'm fairly experienced in plush making, so I should be able to answer some questions.

Are you making a pillow-like plush similar to the one in the photo, or are you making a more flat plush?

Some tips:
-NEVER mark your fabric with permanent marker. It sounds like a good idea at first, but it stinks and can ruin a nice plush if the ink decides to bleed. Try using water-soluble inked pens or watercolor pencils.
- Make sure to take frequent breaks while sewing to keep from hurting your hands
- It's a pretty good idea to test out the pattern at half or quarter size to make sure it works. I've ended up with large amounts of derpy plushie and wasted fabric from not testing out my patterns.
- Read a bunch of tutorials that are semi-relevant. It could potentially be helpful later.
