You get a specific spice, and specific amount of spices. Then you put them together with baking utensils, and bam! You get a pet!

Other than that, you just need to get a lot of ingredients (by defeating baking elves in the festival zone) and the special spice of the pet you want (by using a special spice extractor on a pet of the species you want that is rare, epic, legendary or mythical) then you buy a set of baking utensils and bake your pet.
