Yet another RPG! I got this idea and it refuses to leave. So I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Long ago Mythical beings roamed the land. They were guardians and sometimes foes to the human race. They were hunted by mankind until the were forced to flee. However they would not leave the world entirely unprotected. Once every blue moon They would share their powers with mortals who believed. They would become changlings. To use their abilities for good or evil. The portal they used to view and cross over to our world was located on an uninhabited island. Over time belief grew less and less and so fewer mortals were found. For the last several centuries their were none. Then twenty one years ago evil men came to the island. Intending to create terrible weapons with their vile experiments. This awakened and angered the ancients who destroyed the men. During the attack it was discovered that the test subjects were children ranging from newborn to five years old. The ancients cast their powers over the children. For what belief is stronger than that which lies in the innocent heart of a child. The effects were spread at random. Some would only have powers from the experiments, some only from the ancients, others powers from both. A few days later a coast guard ship passing the island was shocked to find throngs of small children on the beach. They were taken to the mainland. The lab was never found. Everyone supposed they must be refugees from shipwrecks as there was no other ready explanation. The children were eventually adopted out. Everything seemed normal for them, but soon that is to change. Powers are to emerge. The days of changlings are past, what else to call oneself but a super hero/villain. How will you use your powers? For good or evil? All have only one thing in common. The mystery of their origins, for none remember that fateful time on the island. What secrets will be unveiled?


Rules
1. No one is invincible, ageless yes, but you can still be hurt or killed.
2. If you are using a character that is both experiment and Changeling try to keep powers to a lower number. No having ten different powers, You can have a few abilities associated with your powers, but not a whole bunch of random ones.
3. No controlling others characters without permission.
4. No gory inappropriate posts
5. Please be respectful of other RPers, Character competition during the RPG is fine, but dont let it go overboard and start fighting for real.
6. Please do not post more than once or twice a day. Not all of us can be online to RP 24/7.
7. Most importantly have fun.

Here are mine
Name: Andreas Marlino
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Messy auburn hair with electric blue eyes and a elegant neatly trimmed mustache. Average height and athletic build. Usually wears a t shirt or sweater with blue jeans and tennis shoes.
Occupation: Works at a mechanic and repair shop with his inventor boss. Sometimes takes on private eye jobs where he earned the nickname eagle eye.
Powers: Auburn feathered wings mottled with white and black eye spots that he will keep wrapped around his body under his shirt during the day. He is slightly faster than a normal human when running, but as fast as a falcon while flying. He has above average strength being able to lift three times his body weight . (He weighs about 170 lbs.) He can wield the power of lightning. which with practice he can use to power machines or fix computer programming. (Just the programming not the hardware. At least not with his powers. By hand he can fix most things) He also gains the excellent eyesight of an eagle.
Other Talents: He is highly intelligent and loves to read which helps his deductive reasoning and observation. He is good at building and fixing things. He is also into the arts such as painting, singing and dancing. He was in gymnatics as a child and so has good flexibility and agility. His dance classes taught him gracefulness as well. This combination gives him an almost martial arts like fighting style. (He does not use your standard moves preferring to invent his own.) He also likes to cook.
Superhero name: Thunderbird (Unbeknownst to him rather fitting as that's where he got his powers)
Superhero costume: A black tunic with black pants, white gloves, boots, and belt. Gold shirt buttons and belt buckle, and a lucky green scarf with a black mask.
Allies: So far only his boss. Mr. Evan Grandell. An older gentleman of about 70. The only person to know his secret identity.
Other: He sometimes has strange dreams about a girl/woman and hears a strange voice in his head. Unknown to him he has a long lost twin sister that he does not remember


Name: Annabelle Reed
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Appearance: Long wavy blonde hair with light blue eyes, and fair skin. Average height and slender build Usually wears a white printed t-shirt with black pants and tennis shoes.
Occupation: Works at a local coffee shop during the week and teaches kick boxing on weekends
Powers: Will get Gold colored wings that she can use to fly with. Slightly faster than average. Resistant to heat and can lift five times her body weight. ( About 140 lbs) (Stronger than her brother, but slower and less agile) Will keep her wings hidden in much the same way as her long lost twin. Can also see in heat vision. She can wield fire.
Other talents: An avid martial artist and sports enthusiast. She has a powerful fighting style. She is street smart with a fiery temper no one is keen to mess with. She also likes rock climbing and racing with both motorcycles and cars, where she is a real road warrior. As a roller skater she has excellent balance and is almost fearless, but not to the point of being pointlessly reckless.
Superhero name: Firebird (Also fitting as she was granted her powers by the phoenix)
Superhero costume: A white sleeveless jumpsuit with red fingerless gloves a red waist sash boots and mask.
Allies: Shiloh James a coworker who often covers for her. (Often called Shy for short)
Other: Has dreams about a boy/man she has never met (Not that she knows of at any rate) and sometimes hears a strange voice in her head. (Once again due to the twin she does not remember losing).

Cool, I've been looking for an rp like this.

Name: She doesn't remember, currently goes under the alias of Evelin (Eve) Walker, but has been known by the names Samantha, Amelia and Megan as well.
Gender: Unknown, identifies as female and usually takes female form.
Age: 23
Appearance: Evelin: 19 year old girl with long, whispy, platinum blond hair that she usually keeps in a high ponytail
(Will keep adding to this as she gets more aliases.)
Occupation: She works under her Evelin alias at the same coffee shop as Annabelle.
Powers: Shapeshifting, she can transform into pretty much any backboned animal, including people. She can also imitate any voice or animal noises, no matter what form she is currently in.
Other talents: She is a quick learner and enjoys drawing, especially birds.
Super hero name: Changeling.
Super hero costume: A special form, humanoid and with light brown scales her legs are digitigrade and end in two "clawed" black hooves, she has bat-like wings and a long whip-like tail. Her face is sharp, with long pointed, elf-like ears and horns growing from her temples and forehead. Instead of hair she has long, segmented tendrils, her eyes are large, and pure black in color, while her fingers are topped by twisted black talons.
Allies: Her adoptive mother Karen Walker, a 67 year old with light brown hair shot through with grey.
Other: She remembers nothing from the facility but recognized Annabelle's face from somewhere so has taken on her current job to try and get closer to her.

Since no one else has joined I think I will start us off with just the two of us and hope more join as we go along. You can also create more characters if you like.

I don't think I'll make more as I find it hard to keep up with multiple characters :) and I do have a funny feeling that Eve is going to be a handful with all those different appearances.
