Caught this guy in Faerina's Shrine and his genetics are off, he is a rare (blue lettering) pet:

Also having issue. Was in Dungeon in the Forsaken, found an epic Aurleon. Threw several traps at it, and when I finally caught it, its health dropped from 6% to 0% and I couldn't do anything. Refresh, pet is no longer in battle, and I'm stuck in battle. Look at stables, pet is there, but it also has "unknown" for two of its traits:

She has an unknown gene 2, also. I was thinking it was special but it seemed off and someone linked me this thread. She's just a regular pet, though.

I have also had this issue with enemies in battle. I just kill them anyway, since I'm happy with my elite team of murderbears, but I would still like to know what is causing this issue.

This took some work but I think everything related to this is now resolved.
