So, I found a Slyesti egg when I was exploring Trollsblight Caverns, but the parents were there and the eggling died. I captured the eggling's father and named him Rain's Cry because he must be sad about his eggling. I want to find him a new mate, but I want an uncommon one. Is it easier to capture a common one rather than an uncommon one? I just want to know so I don't have to waste my money buying traps and have them all fail.

No, the rarity of the Sylesti does not effect the chance of capture, the type of trap does slightly. Uncommon and common both use the same minimum trap kind (the green one) so it's all up to chance. Alternatively, you can buy a new mate for him from another player for cheaper then a trap. (One that has more traits and good colors.)

I'm actually considering getting rid of two of my older Luffoxes to clean my stable. Would you like one? I'd be more then happy to give one to you for the minimum 1 gold price. Only their visible colors were dyed, so the others might give you weird colors when breeding, but they visibly look nice.
