Orion was a giant child of Gaia. Artemis is usually associated with him, as they were hunting partners.

In addition, Apollo and Gaia are also associated with his death. His death is unclear, with multiple versions. He was either killed by Artemis because he tried to romance her, killed by Apollo because he feared his sister would lose her maiden status, or killed by a scorpion that Gaia sent for overhunting. Artemis is usually the one to have turned him into a constellation.

Orion is a constellation. He was a hunter, and he is linked with Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. He was her friend, and they hunted together. If I remember correctly, Apollo got jealous since he is Artemis' brother, and he tricked Artemis into killing Orion.

My answer: Nemesis

I think? I used to love pouring over mythology books when I was younger. But that seems so long ago, so I may be wrong. Nemisis is what she sounds like, she is the punisher to those who commit hubris, or also known as arrogance before the gods.

Her most famous deed (and this is how I remembered her) is the Tale of Narcissus. Narcissus was an arrogant hunter that was apparently handsome or something, and turned away anybody that fell for him. Nemesis killed him by luring Narcissus to a pool, and he was so entranced by his own reflection he died because he could not leave it.

Wow that guy is vain.
